Mom Decorated the House....

I got up into the attic and got all the Christmas decorations down...all by myself. I am so proud of myself!!

The tree was not as heavy as I thought it would be...the boxes were WAY heavier than I had planned. I put them on my head and held them with one hand, while I climbed down the ladder with the other.

The boys helped me decide where the lights were going. I was very close to getting up on the roof and putting lights up there, but I chickened out. The lights around the bushes were enough. I had enough ladders for one day.

I am determined to make this holiday something special.

I have joined an online support group, and am feeling very encouraged about my future. Whatever happens in the coming year, it has to be better than 2007!

Making Pumpkin Bread with Mom

Mommy bought pumpkin bread (aka "cake") for us to make. I got to do most of it all by myself!

I got to lick the batter.

A Day in the Life of Kids...

We spent part of the day at Grammy's house, playing with Paige and Emma. We decided to check if Jillian could play, so we went next door. Jillian is Grammy's next door toddler. She is a cutie. She has two White Labs, named Nilla and Bitta.
Look, they are holding hands.
Paige decided to get up close and personal with Nilla.

Paige and Emma figured out they couldn't be traveling in opposite directions on the slide at the same time...Emma won.

Matty was in heaven with a tractor.
Paige, and Jillian are the same age. Matty is about five months older than they are. They had a little chain gain going digging up dirt and pouring it into the dog dish.

Paige and Matty ate about twenty oranges at Jillian's house.

Emma ate dirt.

Then we came inside to eat lunch. Mmmmm, PB&J and fruit salad.
Matty kept making silly faces, and Paige laughed.

MGM and Epcot

We started out the morning at MGM. We had a reservation for a Character Breakfast.

Nope, I am not too excited...

Little Einsteins are one of Matty's favorite Disney shows. He sings the songs all the time.

We saw JoJo and June. He was so happy. It was nice. But June wasn't just happy to see Matty, she got excited when she saw Steven's long hair. She played with it. It was really funny.

Then we saw Goliath. Matty almost knocked him over.

We were watching an action show, and Herbie came riding through.

This was a really great time.

Of course I thought I was taking a nice picture, possibly for this year's holiday card....little did I know that Michael was making bunny ears behind Matty's head. Just wait 'til they get home from school.

Hey, maybe we can call them shark bait.

It was a great weekend. We did three parks in two days. We finished off the weekend by watching the Epcot fireworks show. All of us were wiped out by then, but Michael and Steven found a great spot for us to sit, and enjoy the show.
The boys were asleep before we got out of the parking lot, and we were home without any events.
Can't wait for the next weekend....Gretch and her family are coming. Woo hoo.

M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e

Can you tell he is excited?

OK, mom, enough....lets get started!!!

Matty is checking out Minnie's digs.

Taking an energy break...mom relaxing, Matty burning.

Don't have a clue who this is,...but Matty loved him.

Dopey and Matty.

My favorite ride EVER!!! (Its a Small World)

I forgot to take pictures of dinner, although it would have been funny. The kids voted and decided on Turkey Legs. They were HUGE. Matty had to hold it with two hands, and it was bigger than his head.

Ice Cream time.

We stopped at Main Street's Ice Cream Parlor to have a treat; and I didn't even spill mine!
As a kid, I was famous for being that girl standing there with an empty cone and crying. It never failed, one lick and my ice cream fell off.
Not this time!!! (And Nichole, stop making that face, it was fat free Vanilla and Chocolate Swirl! Couldn't believe Disney had it, but I took advantage.)

We stayed at the Yacht Club, and did Disney on Saturday. We did MGM and Epcot on Sunday. I will post those pictures in a few.
