Tis the Season

For making cookies!!! (And I am kind of impressed that these are so clear, I took them with my cell phone to send to Daryl). :)
Don't worry, mom, I have some for you.

Lightning Game...

Daryl took me to see a Lightning Game. We had good seats, no one sat in front of us, and no one sat behind us. Plus they were right on the edge of the row, by the stairs...easy get away.
We both had chicken and fries, and then he bought us a cinnamon pretzel. :-)
The Lightning lost, but we had a great time.

My New Friend...

I bought her a cute little sweat shirt...What? She was shakin when I took her out, I didn't want her to be cold. She really likes it, btw.

I always used to think Gretch was nuts for dressing up her dogs...well, she's still nuts, but now I know how much fun it is!

Sunday Night Football...

Matty and Daryl watching Football in my room, while I was catching up on blog posts. (I had a lot of catching up to do...)

We had just finished dinner, and they relaxed for a little while. Matty was playing his Leapster2, and showing Daryl how to beat the monster. I could hear Matty saying, "Good job, Daryl, you beat the baby monster!" when Matty let Daryl have a turn. LOL!
I wish I had taken some pictures of them outside. Matty was showing Daryl how he could ride on his scooter....with his cowboy boots on. Michael and Steven tried to get Daryl to ride the rip stick...which he tried. It was very cute.
They all played outside with me, while I was grilling our pork chops.
:-)

The morning after "kids night in"...

So, one of the benefits of Paigey Pie sleeping over at my house is that my mom actually got to sleep in. You see, Paige is a very early riser; and she likes to have company....this morning, I was her company. She came into my room at about 6:45am, and asked if we could watch cartoons.
At about 9am Matty joined us.

Paige wanted me to paint her nails....she picked purple. Matty wanted to paint his too. I figured, they are just toes...so I painted them a clear blue color. He was so proud, but very mad that I wouldn't paint his fingers.

Paige is a wiggle worm.

G.N.O....and kids night in

Nichole, Gretch, Mom and Aunt Barbara and I went out tonight. We saw Changeling. It was a good movie...very heart wrenching.
Afterward, we went to Cheesecake Factory for drinks and sustenance.

Oh yeah...and a little bit of birthday celebration.

Back at the hacienda...
Paige packed enough things for a few nights stay...but she was only supposed to stay for the evening. I was so excited that she wanted to have a sleepover that we decided to let her stay.
I think she had four blankets in there.

Good thing, because they were sound asleep in the living room when I got home.

Novemberfest

Matty and I met Nichole and PJ and the girls at Nativity for Novemberfest.

I was so worried. He was the only one of the kids to go into the Haunted House....he went all by himself. As the time went on, I could hear all the noises and screams from the house and I kept thinking "OMG he is terrified, and he is going to come out crying!"....Nope!! He came out with the biggest smile on his face. Piece of cake!

Kayla and Matty rode in the race car together.

Matty and Kayla rode in the sports car together too.

Matty rode the roller coaster.

Matty and Taylor rode the Himalaya (I think that was what it was called)...

Waher/Dryer or Entertainment?...

So....I bought a new washer and dryer. They are totally awesome! I can wash double the amount of clothes in them, and my clothes are so much cleaner.

And, apparently I hadn't figured in the Entertainment value. Matty insisted on sitting there watching the wash go around and around. Daryl sat next to him, and they were talking about the water spraying, and the clothes tumbling....it was so adorable.

Then Steven got sucked in too. LOL!!

Swim Lessons

Paige, Matty, and Emma took Infant Swim Rescue lessons. I recommend them to everyone with children. At first I thought it was expensive, but it was SOOOO worth it.
Check them out at www.infantswim.com.
