Steven's Visit to the ER...

My little emergency boy. This makes three times!

He spent the night at Matthew Olis's house, and I got a panicked phone call on my cell phone that Steven was having chest pains and they were rushing him to the hospital.

I raced out of my office and headed to the hospital.


He said he felt like garbage...he was eating a bowl of cereal, had just woken up, and all of the sudden had chest pains so bad he couldn't breathe. He was crying in Matthew's bed when Brian (Matthew's dad) found him.

Despite the fact that he scared the crap out of me...(he's faking in the picture below)...he was ok.

He had his first EKG, which tickled...as you can see from the giggles below. The EKG showed some irregularity, and we had to go see a Pediatric Cardiologist.

We'll let you know what we find out.

Bathtime...

Matty was so excited that I let him take a bath in my bathtub. The bubbles are bigger in mommy's bathtub.

Uh oh... he spied the "mirror thingy". He can see himself.


LOL! I remember making faces at myself in mine when I was little.

Father's Day 2008

We went to Mom and Dad's house for Father's Day. It was a nice, relaxing day.

Dad hurt his back, so he was takin' it easy. I grilled the hamburgers and hot dogs, and mom made everything else.

The boys had a blast in the pool all day!


Aunt Barbara has come into the world of text messaging. :-)

Michal's cell phone has been cemented to his hand ever since he was upgraded to "unlimited text messaging". BTW, Good job on the grades, Mike!! :-)

We went to Bonefish Grill for Aunt Barbara's birthday. Yum!

First day at Valrico Child Care

Matty started Valrico Child Care today. He loved it! He thinks his new teacher is "acredibly cool". He wore a new outfit from Beals. Cute little plaid pants and polo shirt, and I surprised him with new Diego sneakers.

He wanted to be a big boy, and carry all of his stuff by himself.

He was being stubborn.

Last Day of 7th Grade!

OK, so before you freak out...it was just this one day. I let him do this weird thing, and turn his "spikes" blue. I actually like this better than the way he usually wears his hair...LOL.

This is Mike's friend. (below)

Since it was Matty's last day at La Petite, Mike dabbed the front of his hair with blue too. He thought he was a big deal.
