Together again...

So now that Nic came groveling back... (just kidding). Now that Nichole and I have talked and worked everything out (thank you Nichole), it was so nice to have our families back together again.

We went to the beach and it was a very nice day.

The kids dug to China....

All except one, who was a little escape artist.

Oh yeah, and the wedding is back on for these two little cuties.

They work together so nicely.

Us eating the Subway sandwiches PJ graciously bought for us. We planned it that way. ;-)

The first of many more to come.

I am happy.

After everything that has happened, I am happy.

I am happy with me, I am happy with my decisions, and I am happy because I know I did the absolute best I could.

Now on to better things. Loosing 25 pounds, getting a tan, and figuring out what I want to do with the rest of my life!!

I went out with my friend Melissa and some of her friends last night...it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Seven women, and a waiter who graciously played along. Our apples were soaked. If I get a copy of the pictures, I will post them.

Registered for Fall classes last night, yuk! Microeconomics. I hate Economics. I have this, Accounting II, and Calculus (again)...the rest are easy classes, like Business Law, and Communication. I can ace those. So the way I look at it, three more semesters of hell...and then I will be home free.

:-)

Going to the beach with the boys this weekend. Can't wait. They are excited because they will get to use their body boards. We bought them in St Augustine, and they never got to use them. Even Matty got one.

I promise to take pictures.

Reason, Season or Lifetime...

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which it is, this is to help you know exactly what to do.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person; and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life...

For those of you who have talked to me the past week, you knew that I was having trouble with Rob. He and I have had a difference of opinion, and have not been able to work things out. (Translation, he turned into a raging maniac and I was really afraid for my safety and the kids while he was here). He is back in England, and I have informed him that things are not going to carry on.

I have had to change my blog address, because he insisted that I remove every photograph from the last few months...which I will not do. Unfortunately, I am sure he will not go away quietly and anyone who's email address he has, will probably be contacted at some point in an attempt to get back at me for "breaking his heart, and making a mockery of the last eight months of his life".

I believe Rob was a Reason Friend. He came into my life to help me work on healing, I am sure of it. I did learn a lot of confidence from him. I got to spend time with a great person (when he was being a great person) and I will always be grateful for that. He helped me to put my needs first, he helped me to take charge of things that needed to be taken charge of. No matter how great he was (at one time) the reason I needed him doesn't exist anymore, so the relationship is over.

Just wanted to catch everyone up at once, and give you an explaination of why I had to change my blog...again. :-)
